The 2019 Monterey Conference featured talks by Father Anthony J. Mastroeni, Father Joseph Illo and Christopher A. Ferrara, Esq. addressing the crisis inside the Church that has come about when our Shepherds become Wolves. These are the talks, sermon and Q&A included in this album.

Analysis and Critique of the Current Clergy Crisis
Father Mastroeni gives an impassioned and detailed analysis of the growth of homosexual clergy within the Catholic priesthood from the 1940s to today. The Blessed Virgin Mary’s messages at Fatima and Akita are especially relevant to understanding the current immense crisis. The saints have shown that an attack on the priesthood is a direct attack on the heart of the Church and an attack on Marriage and the Family. The worst form of adultery is sodomitical adultery, and when it involves a priest it adds the sin of gross sacrilege to it. Father Anthony J. Mastroeni was ordained for the diocese of Paterson, N.J. in 1972. He earned an S.T.L. in Spiritual Theology, a doctorate in Moral Theology from the Angelicum in Rome; a J.D. in Civil Law from Rutgers Law School; and an M.A. in Psychology from Seton Hall University. For the last 33 years he has been teaching university students, as well as giving retreats, mostly to consecrated women. From 1999 to the present Father Mastroeni has taught theology and directed the chaplaincy at Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia.

How Lex orandi lex credendi lex vivendi has Manifested Itself in the Decline of the Priestly Vocation
Father Illo explains that the priest is formed by the Mass, for better or worse. Drawing on the story of his own vocation and experience as a parish priest, Father offers hope and a long-term vision of how we can counter today’s grave crisis in the priesthood. In a day and age when Truth and Goodness are rejected by almost everyone in the culture, it is by sharing especially the Beauty of the traditional Mass that we can begin the restoration of the Church and the World. In an important way, the beauty of the traditional Mass comes specifically from the Law that governs it. Father Joseph Illo graduated B.A. in philosophy from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas (the Angelicum) in Rome. He studied at St. Joseph’s Seminary, New York and was ordained in 1991 for the Diocese of Stockton. He has been pastor of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Modesto, chaplain at Thomas Aquinas College and is currently pastor of Star of the Sea parish in San Francisco.

Addressing the Clergy Crisis: When Shepherds Become Wolves
Starting with a detailed look at the words and actions of Pope Francis, Chris Ferrara offers a diagnosis as well as a prognosis for the severe crisis that is magnified by the manifold errors that daily emerge from the Holy Father. Many, if not most, bishops are no better. They have devolved into liberal social justice warriors and the majority of bishops are cowards involved in covering up or ignoring the obvious infestation of homosexual priests amongst their own ranks and the priesthood as a whole. Reviewing the historical record, Ferrara shows that the Magisterium of the Church cannot be altered by the erroneous opinions of Popes and Bishops and that with God’s grace the laity and the state can be instruments used by God to cleanse the Church of the filth that infects its highest ranks. Christopher A. Ferrara is President and Chief Counsel for the American Catholic Lawyers Association. He is a prolific writer for Catholic magazines and periodicals; he is active in the pro-life movement; his latest book is The Great Facade: The Regime of Novelty in the Catholic Church from Vatican II to the Francis Revolution (Second Edition).

Sunday Sermon – Suffering for the Gospel
Fr. Joseph Illo gives a sermon on the mystery and value of Suffering for the sake of the Gospel on this Sexagesima Sunday. Father explains that "If we find ourselves obsessed with avoiding pain, when we can’t bear any suffering, then we deny God’s saving grace at work in us."

Question and Answer Session
