Part 01- "The Anatomy of Atheism" and "How is Atheism Possible”

In the television program, "Drama of Truth," Father Vincent Miceli, S.J. and Dr. William Marra discuss the anatomy of atheism and man's loss of his care about his relationship with God. Faith and moral goodness keep us connected to God. The metaphysical truths are the truths that make man free. A life without truth becomes monotonous, despairing, and even a psychological suicide. Father Miceli and Dr. Marra describe how atheism is possible since man was seduced into sin by Satan.

Part 02 - "Atheism as Humanism" and "Gods Are Men's Wishes”

In the television program, "Drama of Truth," Father Vincent Miceli, S.J. and Dr. William Marra discuss modern day atheism as humanism. Humanists believe that denying God liberates man, that no deity will save man, he has to save himself. Father Miceli and Dr. Marra discuss the philosophies of Nietzsche, Hegel and Feuerbach. Particularly, they explain Feuerback's quote, "Gods are Men's Wishes.”  

Part 03 -"Nietzsche's Atheism For The Elite" and "Atheism For the Masses"

 In the television program, "Drama of Truth," Father Vincent Miceli, S.J. and Dr. William Marra discuss Nietzsche's militant atheism and hatred for Christianity. In contrast to Nietzsche who resented God's grace, St. Augustine in his Confessions, addresses himself to God and says, " All things good in me come from Your grace, the only thing that comes from me is my sin." Father Miceli and Dr. Marra discuss the opposing philosophies of Nietzsche and Marx. While Nietzsche believed society would be saved from religion by the elite, Marx taught that the power to change society lay in the masses.

Part 04: "Comte: Atheism For Scientists" and "The Answer to Atheism"

 In the television program, "Drama of Truth," Father Vincent Miceli, S.J. and Dr. William Marra discuss Auguste Comte's science of atheism. Comte wanted to replace the religion of God with the religion of science. He believed that science was the apex of man's development and maturity. Fr. Miceli and Dr. Marra describe how God is gone from politics, legislation, morals, education and the hearts of many men. Atheism wants to create a counterfeit religion, but the answer to atheism is adherence to the true God, and the Church He founded, the Catholic Church.
