Fr. John Perricone denounces the escalating anti-war sentiments in academia and argues that true peace arises when the faculty of Reason is utilized in accord with the virtues Prudence and Fortitude. Specifically, Fr. Perricone revisits the writings of Thomas Aquinas on anger; which, when guided by Reason and governed by Fortitude, is the proper response to evil. Therefore, when Catholics are confronted with great evil, it is right and proper that we rise up in opposition to evil and conduct war for the protection of the innocent.
