Has the Final Battle Begun?
In the 1990s Cardinal Caffarra, unexpectedly received a long letter from Sister Lucia of Fatima, written in her own hand, in which the last surviving Fatima visionary warned him that "the final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family." "Don't be afraid," she added, "because anyone who works for the sanctity of marriage and the family will always be fought and opposed in every way, because this is the decisive issue."

Keeping Our Heads Raised
by Father Joseph Illo
At the end of Saint Mark's Gospel Jesus admonishes His Holy Church: "But when these signs begin to happen, stand erect and raise your heads because your redemption is at hand." Father Illo considered the "signs of the times" _ _ persecution of all that is holy _ _ and certain Sacred Scriptures that give reasons for hope. Only the Father knows if our times presage the end of human history, but Jesus instructs His Church to keep our heads lifted toward heaven in hope and joy. Father Joseph Illo has been pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Modesto, chaplain at Thomas Aquinas College, and is currently pastor of Star of the Sea parish in San Francisco.

The Kasper Proposal and the 2015 Synod's Relatio
by Father Brian Harrison, O.S.
Father Harrison spoke about the key paragraphs 84-86 of the 2015 Synod's final relatio (report), which deal with the question of pastoral care for divorced and civilly remarried Catholics. He gave special attention to the way in which the drafters of the relatio manipulated a little-known but crucial magisterial document, a Declaration of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts issued during the pontificate of Pope Saint John Paul II. Father Brian Harrison, O.S., M.A., S.T.D. is a priest of the Oblates of Wisdom and is now scholar-in-residence at the Oblates' Study Center and Chaplain of St. Mary of Victories Chapel in downtown Saint Louis, Missouri.

End-Times for Islam?
by Mr. Robert Reilly
Mr. Robert Reilly gives a deeply informed analysis of the Muslim faith and its history, current strengths and weaknesses, and its apocalyptic trajectory in the light of the timeless truths of its ancient enemy, the Catholic Church. He also addressed the folly and futility of the ongoing "dialogue" that many in the hierarchy trumpet and, with blindness to its real hazards, believe is a fruitful project. Mr. Reilly is the author of The Closing of the Muslim Mind, Director of the Westminster Institute, participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 as Senior Advisor to the Iraqi Ministry of information, and served in the White House as a Special Assistant to the President (1983-1985). He is also a member of the board of the Middle East Media Research Institute.

Are We Witnessing the Fulfillment of the Third Secret Prophecy?
by Christopher A. Ferrara, Esq.
Christopher A. Ferrara gives a hard-hitting and carefully reasoned analysis of the current and increasingly serious dilemma we find ourselves in _ _ and some challenging ideas for how faithful members of the Church Militant can faithfully respond. As Catholics become increasingly concerned about the alarming direction of the current pontificate, it appears increasingly evident that we have not been given the whole truth about the Third Secret of Fatima and the enigmatic "Bishop dressed in white." He is President and Chief Counsel for the American Catholic Lawyers Association. He is a prolific writer for Catholic magazines and periodicals; he is active in the pro-life movement; his latest book is The Great Facade: The Regime of Novelty in the Catholic Church from Vatican II to the Francis Revolution (Second Edition).

Sunday Question and Answer Session
Father Joseph Illo, Father Brian Harrison, O.S., Christopher A. Ferrara, Esq., and Mr. Robert Reilly answer a wide range of questions about the themes and topics addressed in the 2016 Monterey Conference including Islam, the Catholic Muslim dialogue, radicalization of young muslims, Fatima, Marriage, Divorce, the Kaspar Proposal, the Mass. Father Harrison addresses the questions raised by the Pope's recent off-the-cuff comments on contraception and the Zika virus - and appeals for us to write to the USCCB to clarify the unchanging teaching on the absolute immorality of contraception. Do we have to undertake a process of discrediting the output of this papacy? The sheer volume of the material that coming out is of concern.

The Conference Sunday Mass Sermon
by Father Joseph Illo
Lent is a ongoing battle against the World, the Flesh, and the Devil, but especially the Devil who has declared war on God and His Children. In the Gospel of the third week of Lent we see Our Lord driving the devil out of a mute man. Most people rejoiced in this exorcism, but some accused Jesus with collaborating with Beelzebub. A demon is a strong man fully armed, who is assailed by a stronger man (Jesus Himself) who is driven out - and Jesus leaves us nothing but the choice - God or Nothing - you are either with Him or against Him. St Paul excoriates those who want to have it both ways - we can't have Jesus and impurity - and the media is one of the most pervasive sources of suggestive, silly, filthy, impure and offensive to God. With God it is possible to avoid this "filth" as Pope Emeritus Benedict called it. Every bishop today must today be a reforming bishop, every priest a reforming priest. It is not enough to simply carry out your duties, but you must be saints working to clean up your lives and the culture. Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and keep it.
