Fr Perricone discusses free will in the talk, “Isn’t Everyone Going to Heaven?.” Because humans have free will, we are capable of evil and self-destruction. Heaven is our great reward, not a certain destiny; it is necessary to govern our actions by the faculty of Reason, to seek inspiration in the saints and to beg God for His grace. Fr Perricone reminds us that many souls suffer in purgatory and that every person will face the Four Last Things (Death, Judgement, Heaven and Hell).
