In this talk titled, “The History and State of the FSSP Today,” Fr. Zachery Akers, the Director of Development for the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, presents a brief history of the important works, including the ordination of new priests, undertaken by the Fraternity. The Fraternity is a new order that was founded with papal permission and granted the status of Pontifical Right with the mission to faithfully serve and uphold the Theological and Liturgical traditions of the Church. Fr. Akers presents an overview of the formation process for FSSP priests and expresses gratitude for the benefactors that support the seminarians on the path to ordination.
