Edwin Faust outlines, in his inimitable style, why traditional Catholic journalism can be considered a "samizdat" for the faithful Catholic. Faust describes how this journalism is keeping alive the truths of the Faith. Importantly, the greater majority of mainstream Catholic publications are not able to accomplish this essential task, similar to the ancient sophists.
