In this fifth lecture Dr. Marra closely studies certain questions Saint Augustine asks in relation to God and eternity, such as what time is and how it relates to the world. Dr. Marra shows how Augustine helps to answer questions being asked by modern scientists on the creation of the universe. Saint Augustine explains three truths: Heaven and Earth exist, they exist as having come into one being, and having been created they did not create themselves. Dr. Marra explains that Saint Augustine is conscious of time in his own life, but learns how God exists outside of time and man's knowledge of the world will not seem to be knowledge when they encounter God.
